Your team is constantly evolving, and individual staff members may need to be added or removed from a Civic Review organization; which is why it's important to understand how to manage user access within Civic Review. This process is straightforward and can be easily completed by following these simple steps:
To Add Users:
The first thing you need to do is navigate to the settings page. Click the icon that looks like this in your lefthand menu.
Now that you're on the settings page, you'll see three boxes in the top right corner of the page that look like this:
To manage users, click the "Users" button.
Here you should see a list of current users of Civic Review. To add a new user, click the blue "Add User" button. You'll need to enter the users first name, last name, and email address. You'll then set the users' role as either admin, reviewer, or viewer and click SAVE.
PRO TIP: Use the About Roles information to determine which role best suits that user's needs.
To Remove Users
To remove a user, follow the steps above to navigate to the users setting page. Instead of clicking "Add User," click on the current user that you would like to remove.
You should see a red "Remove User" button at the top of the page. Click this button to delete the user.
NOTE: All admin users have the capability to delete users. However, they don't have access to edit the names or emails for other users. Check out this help article to learn how individual users can update their names and emails
To Add and Remove Departments
Navigate to the settings page and click "Departments." Once on the departments page, click the blue "Add Department" button in the top right hand corner; input the department name and hit the save button.
To remove a department, click on the department you would like to remove and click on the little red trash button.
NOTE: For information on assigning users to review for specific departments or assigning departments to review specific application types, check out this help resource.
