I've found that learning how to use new technology can be challenging. (I imagine I'm not the only one). So we decided to create a list of the basics you need to know when you start using Civic Review. Sounds pretty great, right? This list can also be helpful if you need a quick refresher.

The first thing you need to understand is how to navigate Civic Review. We want you to be able to find everything that you need. The video below will show you all the different sections of Civic Review and provide brief descriptions of what they do.

The next thing you need to understand is how to approve applications. That's one of the most important parts of Civic Review, after all. The links below will walk you through the entire application screen. It will also show you how to edit fees.

Plan reviews are normally applicable for community development departments. This is a great place to track documents like site plans that need a lot of changes. There are two videos, and a Help Article listed below that will teach you everything you need to know about a plan review.

The inspections module is a separate app from Civic Review, but they work in tandem. Many building/community development departments use it to track inspections. If you have questions about this app, check out the video below.

The all permits page is a great place to search for a list of specific permit types, but it can also be used for many other things. The articles and videos below will show you the different ways you can use the all permits page.

Reports! You have to deal with them at least once a month. Our reports section will make your life easier. It's also easy to use. Booyah! Below you'll find a Help Article showing you how to build a basic report.
