Your Guide to Building a Form in Civic Review

Ready to take control of your Civic Review experience? This article will show you how to build your own custom forms, allowing you to use the platform for a wide variety of applications beyond what was set up initially.

How to Access the Form Builder

To start building a new application, select this "New Form Type" button on the lefthand menu:

If you'd like to edit an existing application you can select it off the list of form types in the lefthand menu.

Form Settings

Before you can start building out pages and fields you'll want to ensure you've got your form settings set up correctly. The settings page is the first page that pops up when you navigate to a form type or click "add new form type"

How to Add Fields/Pages

Now that you've got the basic settings entered, you can add fields and pages. Navigate to the Application Builder button in the top right within your permit type settings.

Once there, you can use the Add Page or Add Field Buttons to add features to your application:
