How to Restore Deleted Items
Have you ever accidentally deleted a page, field, or fee while building a form? In Civic Review, items are only "soft deleted," which means you can easily restore them without having to rebuild them from scratch.
This guide will show you how to find and restore deleted items in your forms and fee schedules.
Restoring a Deleted Application Page
If you deleted an entire page from your application, you can bring it back with a few clicks.
In the form builder, look for the "View Trash" button in the top-right corner and click it.
A list of all deleted pages will appear.
Find the page you want to restore and click the "Restore" button next to it.
The page will be restored to your application.
Restoring a Deleted Field
If you deleted a single field instead of an entire page, the process is slightly different.
In the form builder, look for the "Fields in Trash" button on the right side of the page, near the button for adding a new field. Click it.
A list of pages with deleted fields will appear. Select the page that contained the field you want to restore.
Find the specific field you need from the list.
Click on the field, and a "Restore" button will appear in the top-right corner. Click it to restore the field.
Restoring a Deleted Fee
Restoring a deleted fee is just as easy and follows a similar process.
Enter the "Fees" section of your application.
In the top-right corner, you will see a "View Trash" button. Click it.
A list of all previously deleted fees will be displayed.
Find and select the fee you want to restore.
Click the "Restore" button in the top-right corner.
The fee will be returned to your fee schedule.
Now you know how to restore any items in Civic Review that have been deleted!
