How to Save Your Progress on an Application

Saving your progress while filling out an application is a useful tool for both applicants and staff. It allows you to pause and return to a form later, which is helpful in many scenarios: when you need more information, are testing a form, or are manually entering a paper application.

This article will show you exactly where to find the "Save" feature and how it works.

How the "Save" Button Works

The "Save to finish later" button saves all the entered application data directly to the browser data for your specific device and browser.

  • IMPORTANT: To retrieve your saved application data, you must open the application link on the same device and using the same browser.

  • The saved data will automatically pre-populate the form for you to continue where you left off.

  • The data is not saved to Civic Review's servers until the application is officially submitted.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. While you are filling out the application, look at the right side of the page.

  2. Below the list of application pages, you will see a button that says "Save to finish later."

  3. Click this button to save all your progress.

Your progress is now saved, and you can come back to the application at any time to complete it.
