The Configuration Settings page at the bottom of the left-hand menu in Civic Review contains several important settings, so it's important to know what's there and how to edit them.

Locate and select configuration settings at the very bottom of the left hand menu.

Configuration Settings contains three main sections that have to do with the organization admin, form appearance, and support/contact information.

Organization Admin Settings

The first section has some general organization and admin settings.

Use the Organization Name and Timezone fields to update the organization name and set the timezone for the specific organization.

The user who's information is entered in the Admin Contact fields is the "Poweruser" of the organization. These users are automatically tied in when Admin level action (Pre/Final Review, Applicant Questions, etc..) is required on all application types. You can add additional Poweruser Admins using the Permit Notification Recipient setting.

These Admin Contact settings can be overridden on a permit type basis by adding in Permit Type Notification Recipients (Click here to view how to do that).

Application Format Settings

The Configuration Settings also contain a few settings that control the formatting and branding for all online applications within your organization.

Drop in your organizations logo, select the base position for the Map field, and input a specific hex code to override the primary color to match your branding. The changes you make will show up within your public application.

Contact/Support Settings

Input contact information so that your applicants can reach out to you if they've got questions on the application process.

This information shows up on the lefthand side of the public application so the applicant can reach out.

Congratulations! You've now got the tools to set up notifications and application formatting across your Civic Review organization.
