Adding a "Stop Work Order" to an Inspection Project

This guide explains how to add and remove a "Stop Work Order" to pause inspections on a project.

Ready to hit the pause button on inspections? Whether it's a safety concern or a regulatory requirement, implementing a Stop Work Order is crucial. Let's dive into how you can add this vital status to your inspections project with ease!

  1. Find the Inspection Project

    You can find the project by searching for it in Civic Review and click "View associated Inspection Project", or you can find it directly in the Inspections app in the "Projects" area.

2. Click Edit:

Once on the inspection project page, click the edit button in the top right-hand corner.

3. Check the box:

Find and select the checkbox that says: "This project has a stop order!"

4. Add a message:

Enter any notes or information that you'd like to appear within the stop work order.

5. Click save:

Click the save changes button.

6. To Remove a Stop Work Order:

  1. Go back to the "edit" page within the Inspection Project

  2. Deselect the Stop Work Order checkbox

  3. Click "save changes"
